The same way you choose a good orange, or any citrus fruit, I beleive. Just make sure it's not too soft.

And I believe the ones with the thin skin are better than the thick skinned ones...thin skinned and not too hard.

Mostly flavour and occasionally garnish.

That's great FF. SOmetimes you have to squeeze a little harder for the thick skinned ones but I am sure they are just as flavorful

With my delicate wrists I'm not sure if I can accomplish all the necessary squeezing. Besides I find the thin-skinned ones more juicy. The thick-skinned ones take too much time and effort.

Yes rubbing does the trick...sort of...esp if you roll it against a hard surface. Makes the lemon softer and easier to squeeze.

Femme Fatale hmmmmm…thanks…but it’s just the opposite that I heard of regarding oranges…the woman in the supermarket are always choosing the thick skinned ones…:confused:
