I get reasonable amount of Spam on Yahoo Mail and I have no idea how to block senders. I know there’s an option available for Hotmail, but I can’t seem to find one for Yahoo Mail.
And the silly ‘Spam’ button/option doesn’t work. Also, there’s also an option in Hotmail that lets you save the sender’s address, so that the mail would no longer be dumped into Junk Mail folder. Are there any similar options for Yahoo Mail?
What do you mean, it “doesn’t work”? Doesn’t it put future emails from that email address into the Bulk folder? In my Yahoo acct, it does. Although many spammers are chalaak and they keep changing their email address to get away with spam filters.
Yahoo account gets spammed by default and a lot. I have Hotmail accounts that I don’t give out on any webform, and it doesn’t get spammed at all. The Yahoo accounts, even when I don’t put it in any webform, or give to anyone, still gets tons of spam. I think Yahoo sells the email addresses to spammers for money.
Go to spamguard...and then edit settings..then check the box which says "Immediately delete these messages upon receipt. (Note: If you choose this option, you will not be able to review the messages before they are deleted.) " then save changes..
continue to bulk folder..
and there.. u wont even get junk mails from now on..
