Or are you born with it? My relationship with my father is good but sometimes it all goes down the drain. He mentioned to me in passing that I am so ‘masoom’. That I am ‘sayanee’ but I’m not ‘tez’.

I think you need to have experienced situations that require you to be tez or street smart. I imagine that after getting screwed once or twice, you would become a lot less trusting. Some people take this too far though. Instead of just looking out for themselves, they try to screw others.

Company of 'tez' people is the best way. Other than that you could also try reading some good books written by 'tez' writers. Reading witty books may improve your own wit.
