With all this talk about different make-up and stuff, where and how do you apply you’re make-up? I mean like, I personally stand in front of my mirror but I use to sit down and apply it and I’ve always gotta have some music on! Whats the right environment for you? My mate used to sit on her bed leaning back against the headboard and apply her makeup!

I like a big mirror and I don't like any gap between myself and the mirror. I usually do mine in the hallway of our flat since the lighting is even.

In the bathroom. My side has a large vanity area where I have EVERYTHING within an arms reach. With the sink right there...I can also wash my brushes right after using them.

this might sound strange but i do it in my car in broad daylight(natural light) with a decent sized mirror where i can see my whole face and neck,it helps me in making whatever makeup i put on look natural. like i've said before, I dislike the cakey, over made up look

Sitting on the bed with little mirror and then check in big mirror afterwards..
I always wonder how women can do full makeup on the train etc.. I’d feel a bit self-conscious (and prob mess it up :sid:)

As long as I don't feel tempted to jump about, my make-up ends up pretty even :D

I did my makeup on the train in the morning for five years straight…lol. I had a 45 minute ride…at times an hour and it was the perfect way to pass that time. When I was done, I read or listened to music.
Now, I do it in front of a big mirror and lots of natural light around me.
