i meant in general, though, when people get to be very pricky and interfere in everything.

it could be at work, or in extended familiy of anyone, & of course, by those who are unhappy and miserable, always. it almost hurts to see them be so.

but they also get onto the nerves.
i'm sure, ur suggestions would work.

we dont wanna hurt other ppls feeling by ignoring them and in doing so this is wat we get...
be straight fwd and up front ,doesnt matter if the other person likes it or not..... and that should pretty much solve every issue.
Being a straight forward is not a bad thing.......its a part of personality

i agree, there are too many emotions when people try to be over concerned about others, but in fact their help is not welcome, at leastwhen it is being offered pre maturely. best thing is to stay away and even clealy state that at the moment, their concern is not helping, or is not helping in their nosy manner.

maybe, later they can ask out of concern, without probing.

i have some people in my life that are very nosey as well. They ask me a million questions about my life and my future plans etc. This is what i do.....I NEVER give them the answer they are looking for....i sometimes give them indirect answers. Finally..after a very long time....those people got the hint.

I’m not sure if this is what you want, but technically anything that would absolutely kill a non-nosy person should be equally effective in killing a nosy person.
