cookies/biscuits and sandwiches?
Any nice presentation tricks? I don’t like cookies set in a plate, it’s all too common, same for sandwiches. Any tricks?

On a plate or those tiered trays. If cookis are served (we normally don't serve cookies) there has to be an asortment of cookies and we just stack them up in a large plate instead of putting each kind in a seperate plate...that looks sort of dumb to me. I love the tiered trays though, but you have to have enough goodies so it doesn't look ganja.
Just serve them right out of the cookie pack. If it is a Pakistani peak Freans Zeera box, it'll take the guests an hour to figure out how to open it. More cookies for you.
FG we are talking about serving formally to guests not your single guy/girl informal gatherings.
formal guests can kiss my formal ash tray. why be so formal with cookies. it's just cookies, yaar.
FG and its Pakistan, where u have to be formal even while grocery shopping ![]()
fanta, you are right. I've heard you guys wear laingaas and stuff to Pizza Hut. Is that true?
As I said b4 we don't serve cookies to begin with but if ever it has to be a few diff kinds. In Pak cookies are a usual item served I think. Personally I think cookies shouldnt be served at all.
I love it when the host/hostess tells me, "go make a plate for yourself right out of the haandi on the stove". I feel like doing the dishes afterwards.
You will do the dishes regardless.
p.s. I don't like formalities either.
The thing is sometimes when u serve tea after lunch, one has to serve cookies, even if you don't serve some ppl in our family don't even hesitate from asking "u got any cookies?" So :p
FG I can't confirm or deny that but anything can happen here!
Have you tried serving 'em in a cookie jar? You can prolly buy some fancy ones ...
