ive been getting a few “congratulations” from the few pakistani people i know in my community down here in melbourne.. generally the parents call and talk to mum about it.. and the youngesters (people my age) text me saying “congrats.. u really deserve it.. bla bla”.. so in response i reply “thanks heaps dude..”
my friend just informed me that someone who had received this message of mine thought i was really rude and hostile.. and that i make no effort of a friendship on my part…
i dont get it… what am i supposed to say.. or what did i say that was rude…
i mean, even if someone has congratulated me face to face.. i say “thanks” and am continuously blushing… do they expect me to break out into a long story of how and when i met mister.. or “im so lucky… hes the bestest.. bla bla..”
doosro ki khushi mein khush honay walay loag kam hotay hai. dont stress about it. unko unkay haal par chor do. they’ll always find something wrong in everything. u just relax n have fun and dont think about these idiots.
honestly, how much can u say in a text message? if she wanted a story, she could have called and congratulated.. and even that wouldnt have guaranteed a story. So tired of these retarded politics
