How do people in Pakistan find time to take part in these protests?

Anything happens, there is a big protest. Who are these people and don’t they have jobs to go to?

When I lived there, I didn’t really see my relatives or acquintences have much time for such things. The ones who worked in an office enviornment, they would leave at 6:30-7 AM and come back around 7. The traffic was just crazy. Two of my relatives owned a dukan, and they pretty much worked till 9. My cousins who went to college, they were busy all day with classes, and then tuition.

I doubt other people had much time either.

My guess is that the political parties pay people to come with them, or these are all the unemployed people.

there is a huge population who doesn't go to 'work' i.e. students, unemployed.... plus the public that is specifically against a particular move/agenda will take their time out to show it during protests.

Re: How do people in Pakistan find time to take part in these protests?

if u care about something, u take time out for that.

I agree most of the protestor's are highered by political parties (in pak). Even if u look at the unis in Pak. They have got Jammiat who are mostly protesting and u will c that half of um fail their classes. The pepz of Jammiat always target the pepz from other cities (mostly backward) most of um who are not living with their parents.

On both ends of the spectrum, it shows how politacly aware we are.

^Would like to enlighten us were does the "protestors" come from when there is a rally in favour or PML or the the President.
