How do people manage to do things which are wrong according to their own belief or standards ?
Doesn’t their conscience hinder this ?
How do they deal with the guilt ? Or do they feel no guilt ?

they dont feel the guilt strong enough to stop them.
Example: religion says we must be kind to everyone around us. look at us , we backstab, gossip, character assassinate mercilessly and then when someone says we shouldnt do these , we say yes we shouldnt do these ! its because the level of guilt isnt strong enough to bite us from within when we do negative things and we manage to convince ourselves that we are the better ones of the lot , even though in reality we are just one of them ..

Lalach sab kuch krwa deta hai but Allah subhan tala configured us in such a way that we can get over any challenge in our life.. it would be impossible to live if we dont beat our guilt down ..some minimise their guilt by prayng while other try to justify their act by calling it a reaction. Guilt is a gift of God but being able to overcome your guilt is also a gift from Allah to give you another chance to live happily.
