Thanks everyone for the tips. I've moved to London. I've never used serum before so this may sound stupid, but how exactly do you apply it? Do you just rub some on your palms and then rub your palms over the top of your hair, or do you pick up your hair strand by strand and rub serum through it? How much serum should i be using? My hair isn't that long, it falls about an inch below my shoulders.
Also, how much are ghd straighteners and where can they be bought? I was using a Chi straightener in the US and it was great, but when i came to England i forgot about the difference in voltage and plugged it directly into the wall without a transformer and burned it up. :( So i am currently using my sister's Remington straightener, which doesn't seem that effective, plus strands of my hair often get caught in the ceramic plates. :( :(
I have extremely curly hair too. I don't use anything for straightening.. No serum nothing.. I hate the oily greasy look they all have.
As far as flat iron is.. i use sedu. I bought one for UK/Asia too. Works awesome. Its same thing as the one they have for US.. just different voltage.
