after reading lajo's post, i'm ashamed i suggested rams and kribs. instead, i respectfully recommend a taveez on the male guppy's gonopodium, and some aab-e-zam-zam at 1:1000 dilution. this will solve the problem and also guarantee your pets entry to the guppy pond in jannat al firdaus.

both kribs and rams are relatively common dwarf cichlids - pretty and interesting fellas. your local fish store should be able to get you a pair. here’s a pic of a female krib i had a couple of yrs ago, guarding her clutch.

as for only females, its probably that the fry are too tiny to show male coloration, that only comes about when they are a few months old.

They are more than a few months old. I better check the water quality......their growth may be stunted because of that.
But then again...if they are going to become cichlid food....who cares what colour they are or if they are males or females.
I'll have to find some nice cichlids.....want some with colour and personality....

and please don't say get rid of the females....that leaves the males to themselves and they do nothing but fight.
Teach the females to say, "I have a headache", or dress them up in little orthopedic granny-like underwear. That should kill most of it.....
