Film school is a test of patience, especially if your parents are paying for it. Even if they aren’t, the indian/pakistani mind is absurd when it comes to this. Southasian lack the mentality to see beyond the amitab bachan type paindoo production movies coming out of the subcontinent.

There is no “job” waiting for you once out of film school, but man the opportunities are endless. You have to make your contacts to find work in the field. One doesn’t simply start making films. I would recommend, you reach out to some of the newer film schools in Pakistan when you go back. Work with them on student projects, volunteer your time. Film making isn’t expensive anymore, relatively speaking, and there is still no ceiling on how much is needed to finish a project. I once had to come up with a music video for 2400 dollars! Anything is possible.

Thanks sir I agree that making contacts are important. And its true filmmaking isn’t expensive nowadays. A south Korean feature film was made with an iphone so opportunities are endless.
