.. The GS audio playing plugin? I tried various options for automatic activeX install but it won’t budge. I can’t seem to turn off the damn information bar with yellow “!” sign.

go to www.freedomaudio.com, install and download on the right hand side...let it do it's thing, it'll install...close ur browser, try audio gallery again...dunno if the activeX bar will disappear, but u'll have the software to listen to the songs atleast...

I use WinAmp. This Freedom Audio thingy never worked for me either in XP.
