How do I create this wavy hairstyle?

What tools and/or products do you need to use to recreate this kind of hairstyle? It’s not quite curly, but not exactly straight, and it makes your hair looks soooo pretty and healthy! It’s kind of like when you curl your hair with rollers and then brush it out, but if I do that my hair goes all frizzy…anyone got any tips?

take larger amounts of hair and then curl it... and also try a larger barrel of curling iron if your hair is long. But if your hair is not too long just use the regular 1 inch barrel but just take larger/thicker amounts of hair. and also at the end brush all of the sections together... but don't brush it too much otherwise the waves wont be so structured.

Use a 1 1/2in - 2in Curlings iron and curl your hair neatly. Then simply brush your hair through lightly and use a little hair spray afterwards.

Thanks ladies - any tips on making the hair look shiny and healthy with that style? I always find after curling and brushing out (as you suggested lil_ash) my hair goes kind of frizzy...it loses that natural gloss you get when you first take them out of rollers/use tongs. How do the professionals maintain that shine?

Also - I have reallyyyyyyy long hair - down to my hips - any tongs I use are always too short for my hair! Any suggestions?

all the ladies in the pictures probably do - but they still have to curl the hair somehow!!!

i meant the reason why it's so shiny. cheryl cole's natural hair isn't so glossy and smooth.

try alterna bamboo smooth kendi dry oil mist for shine- it's really good!

if your hair is too long for the curling iron- then don't use the clip just wrap your hair around the outside of the barrel or get one of those clipless curling wands
