Don't understand, what of kind person doesn't take initiative to talk to with fiance. Ok fine he is 35, so what?. A person should be more active in socializing with your family members at that age. I wish you all the best though, Queen!

^ Life is a gamble anyway. Doesn't mean we should go about it carelessly.

You don't know the guy, which makes it perfectly possible for his family and for him to hide all sorts of critical stuff from you. And whether or not he's hiding something important, the fact that he is a stranger will leave you wondering.

Sahar, I've asked him point blank if he likes someone and he doesn't ... we actually had a nice bunch of phone calls in the middle where v spoke for an hour and more...and then this sudden silence :s that's what bugs me...
you know what?I'm gonna wait one more week and then I'm calling him...no matter how needy it looks!!!

no...there was this one time when he called and i missed it,then i called and he missed it...so v emailed instead, but he didnt mind and there's nothing 2 mind. i love the 3 am call thing!!! im gonna do that now ... esp. since he's 4 hrs behind me (nyuk hyuk hyuk)

Anyway, I hope things work out for you. But marrying a stranger is not a good decision. PERIOD. You might get lucky, but that doesn't make it right.

You are just going nuts after him.
Have some respect for yourself and DON'T do it.
Guys have different perspectives than girls. They don't really need to talk much. He might be focused on other things, he might be considering this a done deal and hence its important for him to focus on life in general in the meanwhile. You should do the same.

Can't you arrange a (chaperoned) meeting in person? Phone calls about nothing can be really annoying when you are not familiar with each other.
