I don't know..Just try and do things adults do, I guess. Really there's no real allure of me ing mature other than the fact that people at work take you seriously. Lol. Just be yourself but be responsible. Time will teach you things :)

Ask people why they think your immature to get a clear idea.
I keep being told how mature i act despite my age and even a couple of times told that i am wise :@:. The main this is not to always giggle and laugh, but smiling is ok.
Dress professionally or less casually, avoid talking about celebrities and shallow things and talk about world issue, religion etc. This is what i personally found, it might be something else though.

You're probably already mature and serious. It's just the people around you are immature, so they don't see your "matureness" but either way. No matter how "mature" you behave or get with older age, the ones who've known you your whole life will never see this mature side to you. You'll still be judged as being someone who is always immature. Just continue being you, no point in stopping to doing things that others don't like, cause even if you try hard for 10yrs+, one mistake and everyone will just be like "see, she never changed" and you're back to square one. I'm just speaking from experience.
