In regards to academics/career, did things go as planned? Did you accomplish your goals?

With flying color. I had my annual review yesterday and expect a big fat bonus check. :)

terrible so far. i had 10 months of harsh winter and for the first time in my life i've been laid off. i hope to be back at work in the new year insha Allah.

Career- I left an okay job but after i resigned it became a good job, they gave all employees a big fat raise so i was bummed! =(

Academics- I cant be more satisfied and happy! Got in at a very good university, im getting good grades and probably a scholarship too inshAllah. :--)

i managed to fulfill one goal. and well rest is i am working towards.

I dont think I replied in the previous thread, but however my year went well.

1: I passed an important and difficult exam with a good mark to be able to continue with my degree :)

2: I had a very good experience with my practical, though I did complain a bit about being far from home. Nontheless, a great experience for life.

3: I got a nice (and my first) parttime job as well.

this year ,very strang experience in my life.i never want to go teaching side .in pak i was marking the law paper,its not related to teaching.i take urdu classes for GCSE PAKI bachas ,they can speak urdu but cant read n write .it was so hard for mi .thanks GOD they clear it in first attempt.i have very good offer from a well known solicitor but i have some personal problems.INSHA ALLAH next year it will b sort out.now iam doing numeracy high level course .its sound funny na,the other reasone is i hat math and.........but i dont like to waste the time

not so smooth but very fruitful, I will be more confident in the coming year.

The year went by just alright .. nothing too spectacular .. lets hope inshallah the new year will bring better joys for us all..

My only career goal was to pass the specialist test this year and I achieved it Alhamdulillah!

i managed to achieve 3 out of 4 that i had set for myself for this year. this wasnt easy ride though, 4th one i couldnt do because the one of the other 3 got worst hit in the start of the year 2010.

a milestone year for me... finished the long pending Ph.D. and got promoted at work. Couldn't do much else though...
For the upcoming year, I've set up smaller measurable targets for each quarter.
