you can never know the person entirely unless you start living with them. of course you get an idea before hand but everyone is different in their day to day lives.

i left my choice mainly on my parents and allhumdolilah its going fine.

I just prayed that Allah put fasali in my heart when it would be the right person, and when i met him that's what I felt :)

OP: Usually, families are best judger in arrange setup, they do decision based on your upbringing, environment, background. In my opinion, you can go for a halal date two or three time before finalizing it.

You never know until you live with him and understand him and his family. Its been 4 years since I got married and I am still getting to know him.

Now a days even arranged marriage people have dates and facebook and all that stuff after getting engaged or before marriage. So they get a pretty good idea of the person imo. I've seen a guy's engagement breakup after having constant fights with the girl before the marriage lol.

It's a mystery for both of us as well, as ours was a totally arranged one :) MashAllah!

I knew he was the one when everything seemed to fall into place on its own..it seemed that Allah was totally behind it all and Allah had chosen him for me. There were no MIL issues, no dowry issues, no typical Pakistani wedding issues.. just absolutely no issues, bumps or hiccups at all.
