Showed my husband the preg test stating Positive and my sisters, mms'd a pic of the preg test to my best friend! Told my in laws ovr the phone as they r in pak! Best news was tellin my mother in law she really wanted this and is their first grand kid so i said to her inshallah in 9months ur gna b a daadi ji... She was shocked:)))ÂŁ

To the husband:'The nurse called and told that the HCG level is xxx and progesterone is xxx.She says that this means we are pregnant so I think she might be right'.I think I called him at work to tell this because we were waiting for that phone call from the doc's office.
To my parents:I think it was almost along the same lines,as was what was told to the husband.Were told over the phone.They were told as soon as we found out.
To his parents and siblings:He told almost everyone,I just told one of my BILs wife and it was along the lines 'We are expecting our first one'.It was done over the phone.
To friends and other family members:'We have a news to share.We are expecting our first".Mostly were told in person.They were told (with the exception of few of my very close friends ) when I was about 12+ weeks pregnant.

this time we are keeping it a secret but i blurted out in front of some frnds while talking about some near future vaccation.

Husband.. He was home when I got the positive.. We couldn't believe it and just ran to the pharmacy to buy another test to make sure it was positive!!!
Family... Called our parents right away. They told the rest of family.
Friends..Sent an email to close friends with the picture of the positive test.. They were thrilled!

tested the day before hubby's 30th birthday. when it came back positive, immediately called bff's in shock. held on to the news all day, compulsively testing and re-testing and then on his 30th birthday, wrapped up the first test and gave it to him first thing in the morning. he walked around in a daze all that day saying it was the best birthday present ever haha mA.
parents were overseas so they were told over the phone, bro and sil and in laws were told in person.

So most of u didn't wait too long and told everyone almost immediately (immediate being within days of finding out....rather than 3 months as some opt to do)

no texted my hubby. he was at work when i tested myself ! and told my mom over skype ..her expressions of concern, excitement, happiness were worth it :D
told my in laws after my 12 week scan ...and no breaking it on fb at all !

Pregnancy 1- announced it right away to the whole world. 
Called husband at work, called mom, told the inlaws, even announced it here on GS.
Pregnancy 2- wanted to keep it low key, didnât announce. Daughter happened to meet some relatives and told them mom is not feeling good, sheâs been throwing up, she went to the doctor. They figured and called me demanding for some good news. They could have related my sickness with food poisoning but no they actually figured it out correctly. 
Pregnancy 3- told husband when he came from work, called mom and sister, told the rest pretty early.

OK, since begum had had two losses before the last pregnancy, being an OB/GYN with unlimited resources, she was testing her HCG levels and running all kinds of tests on herself, CONSTANTLY! So when she got pregnant, she just called me and told me. We were still very cautious because of the losses. We took it one day at a time, didnât tell anyone. We went to Turkey during her 14th and 15th week. When we got back, the next morning we had an ultra sound, found out that it was a girl. It was a Friday, so went up to parentsâ/brotherâs house for the weekend and told them then.

Didnât tell people at work for a while. Begum got caught at work because she had nausea and was getting really woozy while performing a laparoscopic procedure, apparently all pregnant surgeons get sick looking at that camera feed. Being surrounded by other OB/GYNs, she didnât stand a chance, they began CONSTANTLY doing ultrasounds on her for fun.
So, my boss and his wife had been also trying for years and finally his wife got pregnant and the day before leaving for Turkey, I called him to just hand off work. He said that before I left for vacation he wanted to tell me something, he told me that his wife was pregnant and due in September, I think he felt a little bad because he knew about our losses. I remember being on the phone with him and grinning ear to ear for him, I was so happy. But then I told him âhey Derek, before you go off taking all of September off, thereâs something you should know tooâ and he was like âREALLY!!!â I said âYup, we are due in September alsoâ and I think thatâs why we got so close cuz we both shared the whole pregnancy experiences at exactly the same time.
In the end I sent a note to my co-workers:
Subject: Home Expansion
Body: We are adding two feet to our house, two baby girl feet
and attached a picture of the ultrasound that had feet in it

Hubby & I found out together at the Dr's office...first try at IVF (after multiple miscarriages) worked!! Not exactly how I imagined it, conceiving our kids in a lab, but hey, it was music to our ears none the less!!
