All I said was that there are people who are in denial that Muslim women are being horribly treated, by both Muslim men and non-Muslims. And I said that there was going to be a lot of blame put on the US and other non-Islamic countries. And judging by most of the responses here, I was right.
I think you misunderstood ak47. I don't think she was insinuating that Islam gives permission to rape a woman but rather she was pointing a finger at those people whose arrogance and close mindedness doesn't allow the comprehension of that Muslim men are capable of raping women. Another point she could have been making is that this is just another proganda scheme to deface the muslims.

Yes, your right on the first part, but not the second. I don't think this is propaganda. I fully believe that there are men who are capable of committing such heinous crimes against their own mothers/sisters/wives/daughters. It just happens to be that they claim to be Muslim and doing those things in the name of Islam.
No I think our soldiers were doing admirable work there. Bengalis are so inferior looking , just like their Hindoo Kaafir ancestors. If our soldiers had been allowed to do their deeds for some more time Bengalis would have been a lot more prettier today , just like us :jhanda:
And those who are claiming that I am spreading Propaganda , read this

Demons from the past ?Irfan Husain
Whether we like it or not, neither geography nor history can be changed. While both countries have engaged in rewriting the past to suit their respective agendas, the facts cannot be erased. Both Muslims and Hindus have to live together as neighbours, and in India, as citizens
In a tranquil place like St Andrews, there are not many distractions, so I have been reading lots of history and trying to reflect on its lessons. For some time now, I have been interested in the dynamics of Hindu-Muslim relations, and the impact of ancient enmities and grievances on current Indo-Pak relations.
We have forgotten much of our past, but it nonetheless affects our daily lives.
For instance,**
The above article is by a Pakistani columnist in a Pakistani Paper**
^^ 1. I don't even think you are a pakistani, let alone a Muslim. You are just another poser who has disguised himself as one of us just to spread rumors and deceit. Come clean and admit that you are a hindu indian; turth shall set you free.
This guy, Irfan Hussain, has written nothing of substance. His rant is just like that of a militant hindu who thinks that a good muslim is a dead muslim. He notes only one quote from an unknown book whose author probably think that Rev. Sun Young Moon really is Jesus reincarnate. His artcile is not a lesson his history but merely an opinion. Every one is entitled to an opinion no matter how counterfactual, fictitious, and grotesque, even you.
The quote notes that “The Mohammedan conquest of India is probably the bloodiest in history”. What about the first crusades where, and I am paraphrasing, one soldier wrote back to Pope Urban II or one of his minion that the blood of the heathens was up to the knees of our horses. And this was just the first war between Muslims and Crusades with many more to follow. And what about the Mongols who used to make buildings with the skulls of dead enemy soldiers?
"Pakistan, especially its establishment and military, is smarting from successive military defeats and the steady diminishing of its international image. Due to their long domination of much of India, the Muslim elite in Pakistan feels it has some kind of divine right to be treated on a par with India." I remember that 1965 India lost. During 1971, Gen. Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi kept an Indian army, that pretty much had E. Pakistan sorrounded, in check. Not to mention that the Gen. took the way inside Indian territory. In W. Pakistan, I admit that the indian military almost gained 5000 square miles, Pakistani Military was a no show. The COS and CGS along with Air Marshall and admirals virtually did not put up a fight.
You know what, I lied before. Everyone is not entitled to an opinion. I suggest you take yours to a hindu site.

Why would it be? Do you know the answer?

Well my comment was in reference to the certainty with which you declared Pakistani soldiers as rappers of Bengali women and asked for a punishment for them. Yes they should be punished but first we need an independent inquiry. I believe that all these numbers of paki solders raping Bengali women are extremely hypothetical. There is still a cloud around the events that led to the separation of East Pakistan from West Pakistan and even the numbers from international sources are extremely dubious. What about Mukti Bhani’s rapes? There was a desperate need of an independent inquiry after 1971 but we never had one. If we go by Mahmood Commission report, Pakistani soldiers did not rape the Bengali women to an extent it was reported in the media. That is all I was trying to say.
^^ I agree. I've only skimmed through the report so I cannot comment on it. However, if our soldiers are to be punished for crimes against humanity then so should "Bengali freedom fighters". Gen. A. A. Khan Niazi was very clear when he noted that the official commission report was misleading.
