we knew each other since the 6th grade …(but dating since past 2 yrs) we both knew we would get married at some point.. a year into our relationship he gave me a surprise party on my birthday at his place and after we cut the cake he took me to the balcony, he had decorated it with white roses and he made someone play the instrumental version of this song.. “where do i begin” from Love Story ( its my fav 
) .. n thn he sed a very well rehearsed speech in one go… it was so fast i cudnt even understnd wat he said.. and he was like " aah leav the speech..i’m an idiot..i annoy you at times but i’ll always love u.. u know that so will you marry me?" ..i later learnt the speech wich he memorized was written by my mom

so this my friend's brother's proposal story...
nj and new york share the hudson river. so the groom went on the new york side and bride was taken to the new jersey side... she had to look through the sightseeing binoculars and saw a huge banner saying "Noor, will you marry me"
then he called her and she said "yes"

Nothing romantic!! I still want to kick him when I think of the way he did it
It was over the phone…“Jaan…when you come down here..we are gonna get married!” it was not even a “Will you marry me” it was more like a order 
But i was still too happy at that time…but now I jst want to kick him…I told him that when I actually do go down there..he is gonna get down on one knee and ask me to marry him

He asked me many times for a meeting (or u could call it a date)...i wasnt allowed going to boys gathering etc...he kept on asking me for just one day......he said he wanted to clear out some things, coz apparently we were in a big fight....one day i finally thought of getting rid of his requests, i decided to meet him...and guess where.....at the coffee shop of the airport....i was expecting some explanations but he said "will u be with me forever" and i still cant beleive he was smoking a cigarette while proposing me which he knows how much i hate!!! anyway we are engaged now!!
