This is a fellow Dutch Guppan. :slight_smile:

She was bugging me for a few days :halo: that her account was suddenly blocked.. and she couldn’t log onto GS anymore.

So I thought to see what was wrong on my own, before alarming the Admins.. So I found out that her nick was changed mysteriously from ~ChiLLyMiLLy~ to ChiLLyMiLLy :konfused:

And all she did was to change the e-mail address in the profile, after whcih she did receive an e-mail with a link to click to confirm her new email addy…

But right after that she would got this message:

I don’t know if this was a system glitch or what. But I don’t think ~* charachters are forbidden to be used in a nick, as there are other members with the same charachters in their name.

anyways, I thought this might be of some interest for the Admins, so I posted it here :slight_smile:

Sir/Madam, there is no need to get your blood pressure up on Mods. Mods don’t touch members nicknames. Anyway, the reason no Admin has responded yet, was because #1 they were pre-occupied on another issue and #2 they have no idea what happened. :stuck_out_tongue:

I suspect someone didn’t like the beautiful characters that were guarding your nick, and thus they are removed. If you feel very strongly about it, we can launch a full independent investigation. Otherwise if you think you can carry on without the keeray makoray, then buhat meherbani.
