mehnaz : they are not living together, but meet each other. that wat i told her many times that things will obviously change when she lives with him ... but she thinks he has lost interest in her.

crash dummie : she says that her mother-in-law has her own strict rules which apply nowhere... like she went for a vacation 2 another country with her mum n dad n mother in law stopped her from doing so.. n she was surprised that her hubby said the same.

deviliciouss: according to her the guy was some jerk who already had broken his engagement with another gurl before marriage with her.

lazy daisy she knew the chap since last 2 years. but i don't know she is not naiive... she's very vivid.

Had a friend's cousin who met a guy and they were "in love" for a good 6 months or so before getting engaged. Then she finds out that he is a "yes" man. Good thing they were only engaged. They mutually agreed to end the relationship as the guy always followed what his mother said and did not care about the girl's feelings much.

This guy sounds a bit similar where he tells her not to go on a vacation w/ her parents eventhough no rukhsati has taken place. My husband and I are nikaahed but if I go on a vacation w/ friends and family he never stops me but instead wants me to go. Sounds fishy to me.

Jus coz she made a poor decision, doesnt mean she has to lie in it… if she’s miserable now,s he’ll only be miserable later.. she shud leave him :rolleyes:
