How come....

Pakistani ppl don’t watch pakistani films, from what i’ve seen their storylines and songs r excellent, but still neva a hit :frowning:

i’m more of a punjabi film fan, but new film’s r hard to get hold of, as video shops don’t buy em couse they say no1 rents em out, Lollywood film quality is bad but who cares if u enjoy watchin the film,

Last film which I remember which was a BIG hit in uk was Chooriyian every1 i know watched that film, and all the tele station were biddin to have the rights to show that film, other r juz as good but we don’t even hear bout them,

Also does n e 1 know the name of Waheed murads daughter? I believe she’s makin films these days.

well my quest is how come pakistani ppl don’t watch pakistani films? it’s sad to see our film industry is juz goin down and down,

hmm, thats wat i wonder, they make fun of it in dramas aswell, that he/she's been watchin pakistani movies. from wat i've seen, the songs r not really good but guzaran hein but maybe i haven't seen many thats why. although choorians songs were good.

~ " No man / woman is worth your tears and the only one who is,will never make you cry ... If you love someone , put their name in a circle, instead of a heart , because hearts can break , but circles go on forever. "

The reason u liked choorain film songs (i think) is couse dat film was such a big hit the songs were played on Radio and on most indian channels and they grew on us, I ave got a pakistani channel and i get to watch pakistani films songs on der they are juz as good as choorian film songs, even better.

I saw no pesa no problem..and aik or love story.....the attraction (for a viewer to enjoy the flick) just wasn't there. The story needed to be repaired in numerous places and I guess the songs (which are quite useful in making a hindi movie a hit) aren't up-to-date. I don't mean that the heroine should be half naked in order for the song to be hit, but atleast know some basic body movements. Also teh emotional scenes. Ugh. Most of the actors/actresses in Lollywood over-do these scenes. Quite annoying.

I've never seen a punjabi film so won't even start there.
