How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crime?

I mean, the Norway guy goes on a massive murder spree. Race isn’t brought up.

The shooting in Aurora. Not brought up.

Remember the asian kid who shot up VaTech? Nobody said a single thing about the urban asian youths then either.

Murder/rape in South Africa. Race instantly brought in to embroil the news.

How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crime?

I hate that. If it had been some Muslim or even Muslim looking they would have instantly said a terrorist attack. :smack: but because it was a white guy, he just had mental problems. It makes me really really mad!!

It is Human Nature/Nurture we all tend to see our actions through as they say in the West.................

^ No its not nature... its nurture.

Re: How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crim

Right Faris Udeen, Naturally it is all about Nurture!

Re: How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crim

Like what you did there. :k:

Seriously heres an odd one for ya…

If a White supremacist gets a black eye… does that mean he must now hate himself? Likewise if a dark man ends up having the first layer of his skin peeled like an apple… turning him pinky/beige (white) does that make him any less what he is?

Offcourse not thats the logic I use when race is concerned… besides theres more than enough things to fight about race is silly.

Although the Natives in most nations have a point when they say “White man speaks with false tongue”

Re: How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crim

is that "forked tongue"?

Re: How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crim

we have learned to judge based on race, creed and/or socioeconomic status...it is sad but true...

we r not born that way...we are taught to judge ....if only we were instead taught to love

How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crime?

Preach it sistah!

Re: How come you often hear people bring up race only when black people commit a crim

Where deep down inside white people hate black people and/or the majority hates on the minority? Then yes. Forked tongue it sure shot needs to be.

That we have.

Flip side, we've equally been taught to love, we've also been taught/asked not to judge. How enabled you are when it comes to implementing the things you believe in is a everyday test and for everyone. Results obviously vary.

Every other day there at least has to be one clip/news excerpt of a Black man being subjected to agonizing hate, criticism and from all available corners.

When a white man is walking in a street and he see's a black person, he'd often be found mumbling, "hmmm I wonder what sorta crime is he going to commit today?"

^ Now that is wrong.
