we were having a discussion over cloning and it was raised that cloning aint allowed in islam,then another question was put my ma younger sis but i had no answer for it “if cloning is not allowed then from where does the soul cum in that body???”

Cloning and everything scientific is fully allowed in Islam. Is is simply and important part of discovering this universe as per Allah's direction. You should be able to explore far reaches of this galaxy and beyond. Similarly there is no restriction on exploring your body down to the cell, DNA, or the atom level. It is fun and it is rewarding here as well as in hereafter.

^^ yes heard that, but animals are going to be ressurected - so they might have souls.
Also, that is his opinion -- there is no hadith or quranic verse that states otherwise.

sumtimes its not what v think or what r mind guides,anyhow whether its allowed or not ,i just asked cause ,there was quite an issue raised back in times when it was a hot issue at onetime and at that time it was supported that as its not allowed by islam so it should not be legally allowed ,and though i dont hav that article wid me anymore yet there were couple of articles of islamic sort supporting the fact to ban it.
anyhow i just say k if anything is to exist in this world it cant b without God’s will so whether v humans make hundreds of clone if HE is not willing all efforts would go futile

it is not written anywhere that Cloning is haram. Therefore, it is allowed.

well the thing is k there r certain points abt which there is niether said heram or allowed ,tabhi to there r discussions and teachings r related to the very problem to c to it weather a particular thing should be done or not

oho yahi to bata rhi hu k there r sum points jisk barey mein na yeh bataya hey k right na yeh k wrong to us waqt the scholars find the answer by relating to different incidents or hadith or ferman e Ilaahi to justify or protest against an act
