Well give them the benefit of a doubt before you jump to conclusions. My mom jokes around with my chachas but in a respectful way. If you are unsure if what you are doing is respectful or not, just imagine that the person's spouse is there. If you would be embarrassed in front of their spouse, then you should not be saying or doing what you are. Otherwise I think it's great they have a good relationship.

I believe that yes there should be a good rapport with the sali and mian jee but there should be certain limits. For instance, we are all cousins and my sisters know him. We have been talking to each other and they too and grown up together. So obviously my sisters will know him really well. I do not mind. I know my sisters and i know him.

i agree with code red..think about it..if there is a chakkar going on then why would they prance about in front of people..they would try to hide it even more..so like not talk or look at each other at all in public..
if there isnt a chakkar going on then maybe they wouldnt mind talking and joking wiht each other in public since nothing is really going on anywayzz..so they have nothing to hide or feel guilty about..
