..harassed and threatened every day and it’s because of our race and religion?
elementary school is pretty easy to deal with.. but what if it’s at the middle school or highschool level?

Sue the parents of the kids who r harassing ur kids. talk to the teachers or principal.
talk to ur kids about it, tell them how it is wrong.

tell them how to explain their religion to others.Often other kids might harass them due to the lack of knowledge. And its a good idea to tell your children to hang around their friends, so that its a bit easier to deal with these types of problems.
And ofcourse go and complain to the school ,or parents.
Threaten to sue the school if they don't take steps to correct situation. That should scare them into action.....

In addition, talk to the bullying children’s parents directly and if there is no dialogue established with them, then I would seek addiitonal legal action (against the kids and their parents directly). Anything is fair game. Do whatever it takes to educate the ignorant kids and their parents.
take it up with the school, they usually will take the appropriate action, my friend went thru this...actually it was when we were in 9th grade (before 9/11), i was with her but was talking to someone at the time, n didnt hear. some kid walks up to her and started harrassing her by asking stupid questions like "do u have nuclear weapons at ur house? I'm gonna call the CIA on u." She ignored him but he kept bugging her for about a week. Then, she got fed up (good for her) She asked me to come with her to the main office and she told the principal about it, the kid was brought in and was given suspension for two weeks....i also told one of my friends about the situation (black Muslim brother) he got rele mad n he told off the kid who said all that crap... n we went to the next School Board meeting they had and presented our case and the kid was expelled which in our minds was punishment enough
Talk to parents of those kids and if they don't take any action against them then file an assault and/or battery report against the teachers & parents who didn't take care of the problem...
