Even in 2013 election MQM may win 17 out of 20 NA seats and probably 34 out of 41 PA seats from Karachi (they had 17 out of 20 NA seats in 2008 election too), still police force would not be under MQM, so how can it be under PTI?
Police is provincial matter (not federal matter) and would be under Sindh home minister, not MNA or MPA. Sindh government would be of PPP or ‘PPP and MQM’.
As for what could happen, well, just what used to happen in past. It would nice to see how much these MNAs and MPAs would serve their constituencies, what they can do with the help of PTI party workers (many may lose life in process, as happen to PPP, MQM and ANP workers even when they are strong on ground). What I believe, PTI MNAs and MPAs would be trying to keep themselves alive with official security around them and/or armed party men around them (just like other party MNAs and MPAs do … or risk their life), else we will see Zimni-intekhab.
[Note: Nabil Gabol won Liyari NA seat with around 90000 votes in 2008 on PPP ticket. Sindh interior Minister was from PPP too … still, Nabil Gabol was unable to move freely in Liyari, as he could have got killed anytime, even though he used to travel with 100s of armed guards. Nabil Gabol is Sardar of Gabol tribe (frontline warriors of Baloch Rind tribe) that has over 300,000 men, mostly armed].
