How can someone die iin rescuing earthquake victims??

im doing a project. and i have to show two people dying in rescuing earthquake victims. how do i kill the recue workers??any ideas??

Re: How can someone die iin rescuing earthquake victims??

All kinds of things could happen in earthquake rescue. Buildings partially collapse and become unstable. They can finish the collapse when rescue workers move things around to find victims. Aftershocks can cause things to fall from buildings. The ground can have craters and voids open up (i think they're called sinkholes).

What a sad project to have to contemplate!!

Go with the most common:

1-Heart Attacks caused by long work hours and stress
2-Heat Stroke by working in the heat all day
3-Slip and Fall

yeah thats great.....but if someone has any more suggestion, then please give...

Let me make it more interesting. The rescue workers need not be humans, I take it? My dad has been working on a side project lately. He is assisting some Swiss UN specialists who train canines that the Pakistan Army has at the Army Dog Center, Westridge, Rawalpindi for eq disaster training to recover survivors under debris.

It is pretty interesting to hear about the training, and from what I heard from him, many of these dogs die during the rescue sniffing operations. After the ground sweep/sniffing, the dogs are able to go in and sniff out survivors and because of their size, posture, stature they can go in deeper into the crevices to sniff out survivors, which makes it riskier. Sometimes they have remote cameras attached to their heads. Any slight shifts can cause a fallen structure (with broken/collapsed support/strusses) to come down further down in a matter of seconds.

Some canines died during the tragic Oct 05 earthqauke in Kashmir, Pakistan during the rescue efforts. At that time, most of them came from other countries. Many of them came out alive and managed to find lingering survivors too.
