I have just launched a website from Canada.Its a website in Urdu for women. Purpose of the site is to provide the Urdu speaking women the kind of information they can not get untill one is exposed to the English media.

But apart from that i also want to use it to earn some money. Is there any one who can provide me some guidance in this connection.

I know that if you sign up to allow advertisements to be posted on your site then you get commission. Everytime someone clicks on the advertisement you earn. People usually get google advertisements but i suppose its up to you. ALLAH Hafiz...

Get the local News Papers to sponsor your website, schools and colleges for teaching new immigrants may help too.

Thanks every one . I have signed for Google adsense and some other ads. from amazon.But the earnings dont seem to be increasing even when i know that people are clicking on the Google search from my page.

Getting it sponsored from news papers and schools is a new idea , Sind Sagar can you give me some details about it.

put some content that people want to read. then charge a littel bit for it

anything that somebody find intresting. put some short stories, comics, jokes etc. also may be in your locality you can find prices for various things and publish there...you have to be creative. anybody can put up a website. it is content that people pay for.

*Use Google.com/Adsense/ or Cj.com what you have to do ..is that ..just put 3-4 lines of java script code in your site .. thats it ....the ad's will be shown according to content on site... *

The two things i am concentrating on right now is using adsense and building the content .
I appreciate your ideas.This is a great support i am getting from this forum as i am doing it all on my own.
