How can I upload music? Everytime I try and do it I get a whole page or warning. HELP

Check the bottom of that error. The code should be there.

the code is there and when I try to listen to it, there is nothing there.
Also I was wondering if we can put a pix with an animation into our journal?

I don't know what that is. You should be able to listen to it. I uploaded my songs in the exact same manner and I know songs and images weren't working in the afternoon but now you should be able to listen to them because they are working fine.

are u all planning on fixing the music uploader thing? or maybe its just my computer.....but every time i try to go to a page with a song on it..this msg comes up and erything...

After you upload the song, a page full of errors shows up? If that's the case, check the very bottom of that error message, the code is hidden there. It's hard to see but it's at the very bottom. Gallary is working. People are uploading songs daily and others are able to listen to them fine. We do plan to fix it but that's not one of the priorities since it's working, although not fine, but still.
If you don't see the code at the end of the error message, then post the snapshot of the error message here and we'll go from there.

I am assuming that pops up when you try to open an audio thread? That's not only you, that's a problem that everyone is facing. Reason is that the software and license that we use to listen to the songs, that company's license (certificate) has expired and they have not renewed it. That's why the computer gives you a warning saying that the certificate is expired, do you still want to download the software for this unknown publisher?
Click yes or no, it really doesn't matter. If you click on, it won't install it. If you click yes, it'll try to install it but give you a warning saying activex control couldn't be installed due to the security reasons. So you are back to where you started from. That's really not our issue because it's not our certificate that has expired but it's that company's (freedom audio) and I guess the way we can fix it is if we use someone else's software, which I really doubt.

Try installing after changing the system date to one year back. Give it a shot. might work.

one thing is to make sure there are no spaces in the name of the audio file u are uploading.
Also try recording directly instead of uploading the file and see if that works.

There are no spaces and I'm doing everything right. Its strange really b/c when I post them and try to listen to them they do not work.
What do you mean try recording directly? how do I do that?

well, I am sorry. They have changed it a bit.. they used to have direct recorder as well.. sorry did not realize that..
I remember you having problem with uploading images.
I also remember that you said u do not have any firewall.
seems like it's your ISP if not a firewall. or may be time to buy a new computer :p
