Recently I opened my facebook account..last night I added one of my friends to my friends list and I see she has some pictures of me on her page. To some of you its not a big deal but to me it is..I don’t want anyone posting my pictures on their wall without my permission. So how should I tell her nicely to remove them and not to do this again?

I had the same problem!! And I just kept untagging them...but the best way to go about this is just tell her...your not comfortable with your pics all over FB, where the world can see them!! And 2nd best way to avoid it is just not take pics with ppl!!!

unfortunately - with the coupled advent of digi cams and social networking sites... you dont have control over that anymore, so i suggest that you get used to.

just tell her. I tell people not to tag me in their pics or to remove my pics.

One of my best friends has this issue. She is hijabi and does not put her pics up on facebook or anywhere else for that matter.
When we take pictures, she tells us straight up..."no facebook" and we listen. No one minds in the least.

It's becoming quite a norm that ppl tell their acquaintances/friends/family to not post their pictures on fb or nywhere. So i dont think ur freind will be offended. Whenver i take pix at a party or sth i tell them b4 taking a pic tat i dont want it on fb.
Just ask her tat i dont want it there. shudn't be complicated.

You guys realize though...pictures can be found anywhere...I mean even school yearbooks are coming online. Its hard for anyone to hide their face if they are even remotely social and take pics in a social environment.
That said, you can definately ask your friend(s) to remove them...some people will respect your wishes and remove them right away, others will trip....you just have to push them a little.

lolz. I mostly get friend requests from Arabs and Turkish people and I have to keep ignoring/blocking them but once a 70+ white budha sent me the request that made me really angry and sick and I removed my profile pic. lol
i have a friend who doesn't like the way she looks. i tagged her pics on my facebook she told me politely to remove them and I did. No big deal you can just ask her not to tag you. there is nothing rude abt it !
