How can I set the account to see unread posts as bold

I can’t seem to see a difference b/w read and unread threads.

I used to be able to see the unread threads or threads with new posts as BOLD. Now they all look the same. ???

do you turn your computer off without login out of gs? I experienced it couple of times when I did that
