I, by mistake, have brought garlic toasts instead of garlic bread. Any ideas by which i can make them a little soft before eating?

*sprinkle a very small amount of water over the toast and then stick it in the oven until almost all of the water evaporates...this will moisten the bread hence a bit softer :) *

Salad or pizza or wings or tea/coffee :@: lol i can have them with anything and everything!! I will try the water thing....hope it does the trick. Wouldnt the oven harden them again??

Water is going t o make a paste out of that thing. Its like dipping a cake rusk inside hot tea. I doubt if water could turn a toast into bread but AE, please post your findings.

Re-apply some butter, perhaps that should work? Maybe try what khalil is saying, you don't have to dunk the toast in a bucket of water, lol, just a few dashes here and there till the bread is slightly softer than you would like it, stick it in a toaster oven and keep checking on it till it is the way you want it.

Ok , are they really crispy? like rusk? coz if they are , there is nothing that will soften them ..
But if they are like crispy bread .. then steam is the only way that can give you good results .. warm it in the microwave for a quick few minutes and then immediately cover it with foil so the trapped steam will make it soft ...
Try this out and tell me if it works ..

Ohh there is one other way you can steam it up .. I used to steam up things for my buzrug auntie .. pour boiling water in the a pot , put a strainer on top and put the toast on it , cover with the foil for a few seconds only .. then flip sides and cover bck with the foil ..
but the thing is you will have to eat it up quick , coz as it cools it will become rock hard again :(
