I have semi-oily skin, and I absolutely LOVE blush, it’s my favorite makeup item, however whenever I apply it it wears off after a few hours…I’ve read to use cream blushes and I bought a couple by MAC but they still don’t stay, i’ve even tried layering powder blush on TOP of the cream blush but still doesn’t work, my blush is gone after a few hours…

is there any way??? thanks!

Yeah, I was gonna suggest powdering on top of the cream. Why dont you try using an oil-control primer (Too Faced makes that Primed & Poreless which is great for oily skins) and put it on top of your cheeks first, use a cream blush and then use the powder?

Use a primer/oil control thing on your skin to take care of the main issue which is the excessive oil on your skin. When that is taken care of, the blush will automatically stay on for longer.

does blush stay on dry skin for longer?
I love it too, and i think mine stays on forever, lol i mean until i use makeup wipes or facewash.

yes i do, and then put blush on top of that

Use a primer , then foundation and apply a cream blush....... finish it off with a light dusting of translucent powder !

I think primer is the way forward. My blusher did the same, I just changed it and now it's fine, but if yours still doesn't stay on then go to a counter and get them to recommend a good primer.

make sure you’re using a setting powder after foundation and before the blush. and before foundation, this primer is excellent for oily skin
