How can I donate tea for flood relief?

I have about 3 cubic meters of bulk black tea which I would like to donate for flood affectees. Unfortunately, I am in the Seattle, USA area. What organization will take this tea and distribute it? Any ideas?

You can try contacting your local PIA office, as they are willing to ship boxes for free. Make sure to mark and label your package properly.

Friends, today Pakistan faces a tough time as 1000s have been killed and 20 million people have been directly affected by the devastating monsoon rains and the floods. I request all of you to please donate generously with any of the donor agencies that you trust so important lives can be saved.

Please help in gathering support from all friends and citizens of Pakistan living abroad to donate necessary items for the flood relief efforts. Pakistan International Airlines has offered to transport any goods for the flood relief program FREE of cost. The goods may be dropped at any PIA cargo point in your country of residence. PIA will transport the goods directly to NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority).

Items may include life-saving medicines, new clothes, old clothes, pots and pans, tents, water coolers, baby powdered milk, canned food/dry foods, bed sheets, travel mattresses, sleeping bags, shoes, slippers, utensils etc

Please spread the word. Maybe you could help save some lives!

Email this person, hes the PIA official designated for the flood relief packages... Im pretty sure they dont have a pia office in seattle but here in chicago they are asking ppl to send goods to designated stores, where they will be collectively sent in to PIA operations to NY...

:(It says that international shipments must be endorsed by the Pakistani High Commission (nearest is LA, I think). I have no idea how to get that accomplished...

Sending the tea to Chicago will cost too much. I need to find someplace here locally to deliver it. Any other ideas?

Could it be that you can sell the tea at lower than market rate in Seattle and send that money to Pakistan?

well sending tea, although not a bad idea, is not the most wise idea at this time, its better to send "cooked"/dry food items that can be transported to the affectees right away by the army/ngo. they wont have time to cook tea in bulks and take it the field, think about it

I have a better idea. Hold a help Pakistan sale at the Pike market and send the proceeds to Pakistan.
