^ true...what happens is that those people are NOT committed to the Islamic way of life. they are fluid in their decisions and on the first stroke/request/criticism they melt away.

I have adjusted from a goatee to a no mustache 3 inch beard. Iam against the wild xrazy all over the place beard.

I dislike my husband's beard but then ot is more important for him to follow what sunnah/religion says than what his wife says so I know I am in no position to object or hold an opinion against it.

For how long it should be, the hadith clearly says to shave the moonch aur daarhi ko khula chhor do which means no limit to the length as per my perception.

i think one is encouraged in Islam to trim the beard and keep it well groomed...combed, cleaned and trimmed [to give a definite shape].

Agreed with you but tbh somehow i think i may have a beard later on, just not right now.
