How are frozen paratha's too soft?

Does anyone know how the frozen paratha’s you get in the market are so soft? MY mum will make us home made paratha’s but I think my son finds them a little tougher to chew. He loves the frozen ones, I assume because they’re much softer, but I’m not a big fan of giving him any food from outside or processed food, so I’d like to replicate them at home.

They don't use whole wheat atta, i think they only use AP flour. To replicate at home...mix half AP flour and half regular whole wheat atta when u make the dough.
