How are drug traffickers detained at Airports?

Some countries (especially South East Asian countries) are well known for awarding death sentences to drug traffickers.Somebody told me one day that Scanners have beeen placed at the Aiports (especially at the Aero-Bridge exit) and these scanners actully make the alarm .Some say it is actually the Immigration Officers who detect it ,looking at the mannerism of the paasengers.I always wonder how the Airport officials detect and catch the drug traffickers, especially when the incoming passengers do not have to undergo any screening…

(I read on a portal sometimes back that Black people from poor African countries are being lured in to this business knowingly or unknowingly and get caught)

How do they do it?

Have you people seen anybody being caught, with your eyes?

Yeah sniffer dogs are the first line of defence and most succesfull defence becuase some scanners cannot pick up the “packages” that are swallowed.

However thers no fooling mans best friend. :cb:

^Faris bhai,I always wonder why in-coming passengers are not screened? Is there any specific reason for that?

Re: How are drug traffickers detained at Airports?

They do it based on passenger behaviour, mainly.

In some countries dogs get used for this, but not so much in Muslim countries because the authorities would rather let drugs enter the country than have dogs sniffing at their citizens.
