How anger can be love...

…Let’s say you become a fundo…You grow a beard, you start praying in public, people notice the change in you, some admire you, some look at you with disdain, but how would you deal with family members that are Mod Muslims? Now, they are your family so of course they would try to look out for what’s best for you and try to first lesson you about life and how to live it, then anger, then simply giving up…How do you react and where do you go from there? The story does not end there. Your uncle or aunty or brother or sister or even your father or mother are still upset with you…Now You approach them…:)…Give them kind words…Talk to them…Take care of them…You will see some change in yourself…

ASAK

I have two such ppl in my extended family. Two ppl who became extremely religious, both in their twenties in Pakistan. They became all out tableeghhi, to the extent of wearing the imama, giving khutbahs, not watching TV etc

One of them does not even look at girls. We used to be good friends when we were young as he is my cousin, but now when I go back to Pakistan from America and say salam to him, he does not even look at me but looks at the wall and says walekumsalam, and he doesnt talk to me coz I am his na mehram. Part of me is sad abt that but part of me respects it :k:

mashallah for both of them in terms of their sincere efforts in trying to follow Islam…

Anyways, their families initially did try to dissuade them but when they saw they were sincerely dedicated, they just let them be, as it is something good after all not anything bad, though yes it might be worldly impractical and maybe it would still be okay in Islam if they were a little more liberal, but at the end of the day what they are doing is good, does not cayse anyone harm, so why should they be stopped…

may Allah bless us all with this desire to follow Islam and make us all good Muslims
