Aleem Dhar used to be a reliable umpire. In this work cup, while umpiring an India Afghanistan (?)) match, he gave two decisions against India. Vijay Shankar given lbw on umpires call. Later, an Indian batsman given out with ball missing leg. Overturned on review.
Fast forward to India match against England. England batting. Jason Roy given not out caught behind when on single digits. Roy went to to score a hundred.
Pakistanion, if Aleem Dhar had not given the third consecutive decision against India, we may be in the semi finals.
Tboughts? And prayers?
Somebody wrote the other day “there are always conspiracy theories..” a phrase that will be echoed here most often
If Aleem Dhar had given Roy out when he was, we would be in a different position, countrymen. Three consecutive decisions against India seems too much of a coincidence, no? The last one bit us where the sun don?t visit?
I don't think. If ppl try to find they will find more against other teams as well
I think the situation was totally understandable to make England into the Semi and out the Pakistan from semi...
haha i was not expecting this type of thread at least from you southie, i thought you are an aqalmand person. Don't make lame excuses now, every team suffered due to poor umpiring in wc2019.
