how 2 keep long hair on long face?

hi all;

i have an oblongish face but i wanna keep my hair long, but long hair drags a long face down so how can i do it sucessfully?

please help!

I dont know what suits you..but ya long straight hair with a long face can look dull and boring. Looks better with layers and side swept bangs, or soft curls and waves

Check with your stylist to find a style that accentuates your features

same problem soni27, i've oblongish face as well and straight silky long hair :)
my mom wont let me have a hair cut, so i have to keep my hair open ( on formal occasions) most of the times... as straight long hair give somewhat simple plus stylish look ;) really...

n what more i do ( at home/casually) ... i make buns on my neck... or tie my hair with a catcher in a pony-tail style.

n if u have real healthy hair, then go for a FRONT-layers type hair cut, in this way u can have front layers ( which'll go with long face ) and have long hair as well :)

so try them :) n do tell me if u get to know any new hair style which looks good on u.... so that i can try 'em as well :)

You can keep it long, but you could get a side fringe and/or layers put at the front, just to break it up a bit

my hair is also wavy, so i dont know if i could do the bangs thing. i wish i could make my face shorter so i could grow my hair long. everyone s like y dont u keep ur hair long ?..............

off topic coz i know you wanna keep your hair long but my cousin who has a long face had her long straight hair cut off and she got an awesome, sharp looking bob. did wonders for her face shape. actually there are some styles that allow you to keep your hair long but have layering around chin length, which gives the same sort of effect.

You should get long-layers that will add body to the crown, keeping in mind u have wavy hair and can't always wear it straight.
