Re: Houston vs L.A.
You can’t compare SoCal with Austin lol…it’s like apples and oranges. Obviously, if a person can afford to live on the West Coast, it’s a no brainer. But when you look at what a $350,000 house in Austin or Dallas gets you vs a $350,000 house in SoCal…well… ![]()
Bayinnah has definitely put Dallas on the map religion wise. But even aside from that, or the mega masjids of Irving, Plano & Richardson, each suburb/neighborhood in the metroplex has their own thriving/satellite masjid community. For Islamic schools, Brighter Horizons Academy sets the bar way high. It gives families the same advanced academic standard of good public schools in an Islamic school setting. There are also many top notch charter schools in the area.
The Dallas metroplex (because let’s face it, it’s really about the suburbs here) are consistently ranked in the top places in America to raise and family and send your kids to school. Low crime, affordable housing, top notch schools.
And yes, the job market is booming. In the past 6 months, I have had 4 clients that were out of state transplants (from both east coast and west coast).
