Two economic powerhouses of two countries officially became sister cities in the first week of March.
Great news first of all. 
I’ve seen this and read about different cities. Anyone know exactly WHAT this achieves? any specific examples would be appreciated.
I don't know what the similarity is? Except Lee Harvey Oswald belonged to white extremeist group killed the most handsome president John F Kennedy in November afternoon of 1963. White extremist group believed in violence and guns similar to belief of MQM. If you don't agree "oopar charhado" :)

It's kinda like deja vu. You guys were talking about how Karachi is comparable to Houston, and other cities expense-living wise.

But, I thought they became sister cities last year (Karachi News | Pakistan Observer Newspaper online edition). Maybe they mayor of Karachi needs an excuse to visit Houston again
