:D someone gave us a heart shaped plastic hanging with some pcitures if kaaba' etc i think and an open quran with surah yaseen on it, well the first verse or two. It sat in storage for some time till mum could no longer deal with the guilt and put it up in the living room. Then I don't knnow how and when but it broke and now its in storage cos we have no idea how to dispose it.
Then there was this other black framed piece, black background, golden frame with bright pink and green ayats on it. That we passed on though :D
Unless you know the recipients decor theme/ colour scheme or know that they have a very mixed theme going on in their home, one should refrain from giving decoration items esp larger ones which don't blend in.
