I got two right only.
Garlic and ginger are used to add zing to the desi food and also to take over the smell of flesh for meat dishes.

Garlic and ginger is added to keep our faith (emaan) strong. due to smell of garlic and ginger, Maghrabi Haseenaeen stay away from desi guys. coz desi women mostly are stay home women, this is how they take care of their interests :D

i only got one right. And I agree with Mrich I thought we used garlic and giner so we get the smell (heek) of the meat out.
