There must be something that we enjoy, or if not enjoy then something that we hate least?
I think mine’s cooking…not sure if everyone would consider it to be a ‘chore’ but I do find it quite relaxing.

cooking quick meals
opening up the fridge and staring at items without any purpose. This usually happens after 11 pm.
Collecting mail from the mailbox...and going through girlie catalogs

anyway, i think i enjoy cooking n baking ....specially when i'm making something for my kids .....
thursdays r my 'office days'.....i sort out mails ....file them ....reply / make appointments etc. etc. .....n i enjoy it very much!!
tidying up everything ...!!....it looks so messy with toys n papers around ....you just pick up some stuff here n there ....n its all tdy n neat again...!!

that reminds me my love for doing dishes too....!!
infact i was quite upset when hubby bought us a dish washer .....i hate to gather a whole load of dirty dishes n then run the washer ....
i miss my 'pre-washer' times :(

I have a dishwasher but hardly use it as it takes a couple of days to fill it up - can't justify doing a half load as I'm trying to be enviromentally friendly - but then the thought of dirty crockery festering away in the dishwasher disgusts me too so inevitably I end up doing the dishes by hand.

i love washing the dishes... (im pretty suprised a few others in here enjoy it too)
i love cooking too.. especially the whole preparation bit like washing, peeling and slicing.. very relaxing indeed

Sadzzz - I'm surprised also, my family thinks it is odd, but I think both cooking and washing the dishes are so relaxing

Ok, after reading funguys response in the chores you hate thread, I have to add one more thing to my list....
I love folding laundry, especially after it has been hanging outside on the line. It smells so good.

I love cleaning lately, maybe it's a pregnancy thing. Being 8.5 mo pregg today I scrubbed the floors, tub, sink, vaccummed, dishes, dusted, cooked. But I find it so satisfying to see everything so sparkly and clean. I don't think it's the actual cleaning that I like but the end result.

I enjoy cleaning as I too enjoy seeing everything clean.
Sometimes I enjoy cooking but sometimes I dont, depends on what I am cooking and if it turns out good.

I was like that towards the end of my pregnancy too…I think the books calls it the ‘nesting’ period. I wish men would get it too.
