hi, i recently moved to lhr, so dont knw many ppl here, i need maids , one full time for taking care of my bed ridden MIL, another one for househelp. The one we had previously left suddenly without notice… Nothing surprising, but i am due to strt work in a couple of weeks, so i am desperate, we have been asking people we know but is there a faster way??? Any reliable agencies?? We r willing to pay a little above the going rate due to our circumstances??? Helllppppp, i dont have any family in lahore and i am relying on guppies and guppans to help me settle down…

Well for MIL I suggest getting a nurse you can enquire at hospitals.

I dont know of any agencies. You might need to check Ads section of sunday newspaper, Jang maybe ?

Lahore is deficient of kaam walis a lot, its really hard to find the ones who stick to you. My sis in law is having so much problem in this

True and there are lots of issues of trust too. Have heard of sooo many stories of maids drugging ghar wallahs and stealing or passing on inside info to chors/dakoos

You might want to look into agencies that supply philipino maids that are probably more professional and reliable
