In these days of economic slowdown, the one career path thats still doing well is that of healthcare in the USA, to the point where there is a shortage of qualified people. Recently, I learned of an interesting mix of healthcare and business with a great demand. Two such areas are Hospital Administrator (HA) and Hospital Project Manager (PM). Both of these are ideal for a business major. PM track requires interest and knowledge of Biology and chemistry, so thats more inclined to business majors with maybe a minor in bio or chem. HA does not require knowledge of science courses, although a willingness to learn once hired is always appreciated.
The best thing about these tracks is that there is a great demand, you donot have to have a masters degree (bachelors is just fine) and I know of some universities that offers both of these tracks. From what I understand, a student is almost guaranteed a job as soon as he/she comes out of college.
